FAQs
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
Your initial assessment will be 1 hour long. We will discuss your medical history in depth, in order to get a full understanding of your current, past and ideal health histories.
Treatment plans will be discussed during this visit. Sometimes, more specific plans will require in depth analysis and will be presented to patients on subsequent follow ups. I prefer not to rush to conclusions and will spend time outside of our visits researching and determining the best treatment plan.
Here's a checklist of things to bring:
- Any relevent blood work, diagnostic imaging or test results. If you don't have access to it, the clinic will be able to request it from your doctor.
- A list of any medications or natural supplements you're currently taking. If you've taken a lot in the past, a record of things you've tried in the past, whether they helped or not.
Also, before your initial visit, you should receive an online intake form, please fill that out before your appointment (at home, no need to print). We can also provide the same forms when you come, but please arrive 15 minutes early to have time to fill those forms out.
Every case is different, so the number of visits will vary. We can certainly come up with a plan that both accommodates your time restraints and financial situation.
Typically, we have a few visits in the early going to establish a treatment plan, and then spread them out over time. Those requiring acupuncture may have weekly or twice-weekly acupuncture for a 4-6 week period.
New (acute-onset) ailments tend to resolve faster than long lasting (chronic) cases.
